While the mission is to focus support of design in the areas of business, education (formal) and community, it is recommended that the starting point be mentoring of black students in design programs. This initiative is considered “low hanging fruit” with respect to resources, impact and exposure.

Once a support network is refined and proves efficient and effective, we will look to expand the support to students in graduate programs and fields of study that are tangent to design. Other initiatives can be developed with less time compression.
